Below is a list of programs the Cochrane Skating Club is offering for the 2022-2023 Season:

PreCanSkate:

Pre-CanSkate is a 30 minute class. 

Pre-CanSkate Skating Programs (New Mon & Wed AM Program Added!) 

Monday & Wednesday Morning Program 9:30 to 10:00 AM **NEW** (2 days per week for 10 classes)

• Session 1: Sep 12 - Oct 17, 2022
• Session 2: Nov 2 - Dec 12, 2022  

Monday Afternoon Program 3:15 to 3:45 PM:

• Fall: Sep 26 to Dec 19, 2022
• Winter: Jan 9 to Apr 3, 2023

Tuesday Program 5:15 to 5:45 PM:

• Fall: Oct 4 to Dec 6, 2022
• Winter: Jan 10 to Mar 21, 2023

Thursday Programs5:15 to 5:45 PM:

• Fall: Oct 6 to Dec 8, 2022
• Winter: Jan 12 to Mar 23, 2023

Saturday Program 9:00 to 9:30 AM or 9:30 to 10:00 AM:

• Fall Oct 1 to Dec 10, 2022
• Winter: Jan 14 to Mar 25, 2023

**No classes Oct 8, Oct 10; Nov 14; Dec 5, Jan 30, Feb 18, Feb 20, Feb 21, Feb 23, Mar 20

Skaters can register for more than one day (e.g. Tuesday and Thursdays) as skill development and progress will occur quicker with more practice / on-ice time. Simply add each program to your cart. 

CanSkate:

Monday Afternoon Program 3:00 to 3:45 PM:

Tuesday Program 5:15 to 6:00 PM:

• Fall: Oct 4 to Dec 6, 2022
• Winter: Jan 10 to Mar 21, 2023

Thursday Program 5:15 to 6:00 PM:

• Fall: Oct 6 to Dec 8, 2022
• Winter: Jan 12 to Mar 23, 2023

Saturday Program 9:00 to 10:00 AM (1 hour):

• Fall Oct 1 to Dec 10, 2022
• Winter: Jan 14 to Mar 25, 2023

Note: Skaters are encouraged to skate 2x per week in CanSkate.  

Advanced CanSkate: 

• 2022-2023 Season Dates:  September 6, 2022 to April 27, 2023
• Tuesdays: 
  • Advanced CanSkate Ice 4:00 p.m.  to 5:00 p.m.  
  • Advanced CanSkate Off-Ice from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. 
• Thursdays: 
  • Advanced CanSkate Ice 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.  

Junior STARSkate:

Season Dates:  September 6 to April 27, 2023 ** check your account calendar for dates/times; no skating dates etc. 

• Tuesdays: 
  • Junior STARSkate:  4:00 to 5:00 PM
  • Junior STARSkate Tuesday Off-Ice:  5:15 to 5:45 PM
  • Advanced CanSkate skates at the same time and participate in dry-land with Juniors. 
• Thursdays: 
  • Juniors STARSkate: 4:00 to 5:00 PM
  • Advanced CanSkate skates at the same time as this Junior session. 
• Optional BUY ON Saturday (coaching fees extra)
  • 9:00 to 10:00 AM when CanSkate not in Session -- check your account calendar for dates/times   
  • 10:00 to 11:00 AM when CanSkate in Session -- check your account calendar for dates/times
  • This is a combined Junior, Intermediate and Senior open ice/buy on session.  Junior skaters are reminded to give way to faster skaters and to follow ice rules. 

Intermediate STARSkate:

Season Dates: September 6, 2022 to April 29, 2023 

Please check your account calendar/dashboard for program dates, time shifts when CanSkate is in session as well as non-skating days and more. 

• Mondays:  
  • Intermediate/ Senior Ice 6:30 to 7:30 am. 
  • Intermediate / Senior Flex 4:00 to 5:00 PM OR 4:15 to 5:15 PM OR 4:30 to 5:30 PM OR 4:45 to 5:45 pm ** includes 15 minutes of edge/stroking from 4:45 to 5:00 PM
    • Additional 15; 30 or 45 minutes of ice time can be purchased for Monday PM after purchasing 1 hour program
• Tuesdays: 
  • Ice 6:00 to 7:00 PM.   Note: Time Changes to 5:00 to 6:00 PM. when CanSkate is NOT in session 
  • Off-Ice 7:05 to 7:35 PM.   Note: Time Changes to 6:05 to 6:35 PM when CanSkate is NOT in session 
• Wednesdays:
  • Intermediate and Senior On Ice Edge, Spin, Turn  5:00 to 5:45 PM
  • Intermediate and Senor Off ICE Jump and Technique 5:50 to 6:30 PM
• Fridays:
  • Intermediate/Senior Ice from 7:00 to 8:00 AM
• Saturdays: 
  • ALL STARSkate level 10:00 to 11:00 AM Note: Time Changes to 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 am when CanSkate is NOT session

Senior STARSkate:

Season Dates: September 6, 2022 to April 29, 2023
